We’re thrilled to announce that the UTS Open Access Policy has been updated!
UTS Library will facilitate access to 18 Read & Publish agreements (also known as Transformative Agreements) in 2025, including a continuation of 16 existing agreements and 2 new additional agreements. These agreements are negotiated by the Council of Australian University Librarians (CAUL) for institutions in Australia and New Zealand.
Launching Monday, 2 December 2024, the Library will pilot Research Assistant, a new tool in the Library catalogue that summarises the top content from your search query and provides links to trusted library resources, making it the perfect way to start researching a topic.
The institutional licence to Grammarly will be discontinued 31st December 2024. From 1 January 2025 users of the UTS supplied licence will be downgraded to free accounts. Individual subscriptions will not be affected.

Reading Lists facilitate the selection, procurement, management and delivery of required and recommended readings all from within Canvas.
The Library has installed a self-serve loanable tech locker outside the Reading Room entrance in UTS Central, (Building 2, level 5). Meaning you have 24/7 access to more loanable laptops, cameras (and other tech items as we grow our collection), even when the Library might be closed!
