Adobe photoshop basics

Graphic design is managed by three main Adobe programs: Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.  Whether you want to use these programs for fun or work, a thorough understanding of them will help you achieve the results you need.  

This workshop covers the basics of Adobe Photoshop including:

  • Adjusting skin tones
  • Working with layers
  • Use of the liquify tool
  • Transforming and saving work
  • Basic etching and selecting

Bring a digital portrait of yourself to create a magazine cover with related type.

Tools to help your productivity

Get an overview of the range of productivity tools in Office 365 that you can use to plan your session, stay on top of tasks and work in a group.
You’ll learn how to:

  • Manage your tasks across Microsoft 365
  • Work with tasks in Outlook, shared Office documents, and in Teams
  • Manage individual tasks and build “your day”
  • Assign group tasks and build a plan
  • Explore various views to get the most out of task management

Paws for therapy: Delta Therapy Dogs visit!

Are you feeling stressed, anxious, or just in need of a little pick-me-up?

Join the Library and Student Learning Hub for a unique opportunity to meet and greet some of the most lovable canine companions. Mark your calendar and get ready to:

  • Spend time with delta therapy dogs (and pet them! 🐕)
  • Get support with exam and assignment study 📚
  • Get engrossed in our chill-out zone and mindfulness activities 😊
