In this session of the Research Impact at UTS series, we will cover research impact with respect to open access publishing.
Open access is more than just sharing information; it’s a powerful tool for building communities.
How are communities in our region approaching open knowledge initiatives and driving meaningful change? In this session, the panel will explore the important role of collaboration in making research more accessible.
In this session we focus on the use of technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, by and for various communities, and what that means in relation to Open Access, particularly in an Indigenous context.
UTS acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the Boorooberongal people of the Dharug Nation, the Bidiagal people and the Gamaygal people, upon whose ancestral lands our university stands. We would also like to pay respect to the Elders both past and present, acknowledging them as the traditional custodians of knowledge for these lands.
