The institutional licence to Grammarly will be discontinued 31st December 2024. From 1 January 2025 users of the UTS supplied licence will be downgraded to free accounts. Individual subscriptions will not be affected.
Alternative spelling and grammar tools and services include:
- Microsoft Word with inbuilt spelling and grammar tools
- Available to students via Office 365
- Available to staff through Office 365 portal
- Bing Copilot – a secure GenAI tool that does not provide training data to its LLM
- HELPS writing support services for students
