Research Pitch Fundamentals: How to talk about your research easily, clearly and effectively to ANY audience

This workshop is designed for UTS HDR Students wanting to level up on their pitching skills, but all are welcome!

Professional researchers must be able to communicate verbally—to our students, our colleagues, potential employers, potential funders, and the broader public. This workshop will run as the first event preparing for the 2024 Three Minute Thesis competition where participants will be able to learn tips, practical tools and the chance to seek feedback on their pitches. You'll learn how to leverage startup craft to articulate your research and create excitement around your ideas, while learning with others.
