Join us for a special masterclass in embroidery, led by Vita Cochran, our 2024 Creative in Residence.
This is your opportunity to learn directly from a renowned artist who blends traditional textile practices with contemporary forms. In the workshop you will make a "moth sampler", in which you will learn seven of the embroidery stitches Vita has used to make her embroidered moths in the Library and create your own stylised moth embroidery to take home.
Whether you're a beginner or a pro looking to refine your skills and learn some of Vita's unique stiches, this class will provide invaluable insights into the art of embroidery.
