Week 2 | FOCUS: Mindfulness of Breath
This week, we are using breath counting to train our focus and awareness. The mind is always going to think involuntarily, just as the heart beats. By bringing the mind back to the counts in a non-judgemental way, we are training the cognitive ability to refocus without generating further layers of judgement and thought.
These sessions are about you, it is your time to relax and re-centre. Make yourself comfortable by sitting in your favourite chair, and feel welcome to keep your camera off. Please feel welcome to engage in questions at the end.
